Question:

How much do cruise ship dancers make?...and other info?

also, where are the best cruises to dance on and do you have to sing or do anything else extra?

I know i want to be a dancer but i haven't figured out what or where i want to be

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Many professional dancers get their start by dancing for cruise ships. (Snowflake seems to be talking about ballroom dancers, which is a different area.) The attraction is the steady pay and being able to get free room and board. There isn't much information on how much dancers get paid, however I found an old article (pre-2004) that said "from $390 to $900 a week" for new dancers.

Stiletto Entertainment (a production company for cruise shows) has a nice web site with a lot of information.

As you will read, being able to carry a tune is a desired skill in such work.

Hope that helps.
