"jumpstyle" dance - has anyone heard of this?

i came across some videos on youtube with people dancing "jumpstyle". the people look so god damn retarded doing this. is this some kind of a trendy new dance? i've never seen anyone dance this in real life (thank god!)

Unlike hardstyle, it does not have an off kick bassline, basing itself more on the kick drum. It is a new genre in the hard dance scene and has its origins in Belgium although is slowly spreading across Europe and even into Israel It's also populair in the US especially on the east coast ) New Jersey, Chicago. and on the west coast Los Angeles. Well known jumpstyle events include Reverze, Danscotheek Oh!, Illusion, The Vibe, Complex and Cherry Moon.
