what are the types of shoes i should look for? do you have links or pictures you could send me? also. what type of clothes should i wear as well i went to the store they recomended us for my class. but unfortunatly they only had women stuff...please help me

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Most modern dancers do not wear shoes. I prefer my students to dance barefoot. However, some schools have shoes called DancePaws that are neutral colored and only cover the ball of your foot to allow ease of movement for turning and such. As for attire, I would expect my male students to wear tight fitting clothing (such as a muscle shirt and non-baggy jazz pants) so I can see their body move. Ask your teacher what you should wear. I would also encourage a dance belt - just like girls need to wear a bra for support, a guy should wear support too.
