Question:

I would like to know which schools in the United States are really the best to learn dancing?

Dance schools in the United States that are really popular and have strong teacher stuff. Maybe there are universities that can offer such programs.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The term "dance schools" covers an extremely broad category, involving training from 3-year olds on up. But since you also specified university dance programs, here is my list of the top college dance programs in the U.S.

Arizona State University (asu.edu)
Butler University (butler.edu)
Indiana University (indiana.edu)
Juilliard School (juilliard.edu)
Marymount Manhattan College (mmm.edu)
NYU, Tisch School of the Arts (tisch.nyu.edu)
North Carolina School of the Arts (ncarts.edu)
Ohio State University (osu.edu)
Point Park University (pointpark.edu)
Southern Methodist University (smu.edu)
SUNY, Purchase (purchase.edu)
Temple University (temple.edu)
Texas Christian University (dance.tcu.edu)
University of Arizona (arizona.edu)
University of Michigan (umich.edu)
University of Oklahoma (ou.edu)
University of South Florida (usf.edu)
University of Utah (utah.edu)
University of the Arts (uarts.edu)

P.S. If you'll note, many of the above schools are not included in the NASD list available through Mylove's link; not even the famed Juilliard. So please don't think that the NASD site is comprehensive. Dance Magazine's College Guide is the best resource, but even that is incomplete.
