Dance involves both your mind and your body, unlike jogging where you can jog but still think about your problems. Dance is complicated enough that you have to turn off other thoughts and concentrate on dancing. At the same time, it is an aerobic activity that brings enough oxygen into your system and exersises all muscles. That in turn helps the brain chemistry to be on the right track.
