Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I went to a dance two weeks ago, and the boy I liked didn't ask anyone to dance. So (after a lot of prodding from my friends), I went up to him and asked him to dance. He said yes. I waited a little while into the dance to ask him, to give him the opportunity to ask me, but when I realized he wasn't going to, and I thought I was going to run out of time to ask, I just asked him myself.
If the guy says no, just say okay and walk away. If he says yes, good for you!
