Splits Help.?

I need help with the splits. Im almost down its just that i cant get to the floor. Any suggestions on what i should do? and another question how do i not be stiff while dancing. your comments help alot THANKSz!!!


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well I am a really flexible person so it came kinda easy for me to do the splits. But, since I wasnt all the way there (like you) I did the splits on my steps or if you dont have step stack up phone books or on any surface above 6 inches but not over a two full rulers. (I used the steps but then I used 2 phone books along with the steps). Try doing this and see how it works out, as for being stiff in dance class, take 15-30 minutes before your class and stretch, it should help out a little bit!
