Question:

At what age do you become a professional dancer?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I have to say that Beejee's definition needs a bit more: AFTER you first get paid for dancing, you are ready, willing and able to KEEP getting paid for dancing.

Just because my daughter earned a bit of money when she was 15 and 16 for principal roles in a local production of Nutcracker, she would not dare to call herself a professional amongst her fellow college dance majors. She'll be ready to go pro after graduation.
