How to dance hip hop major problem help PLEASE!!?

hi! ive always wanted to dance hip hop but theres a majorr problem!! my parents dont really like the music or the moves..basically, everything about it!! so i was wondering if i cud just like learn kinda *secretly * online or if there are any moves that are simple?? i always feel so awkward and left out at dances!! HELP!!!
