Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Lindy Hop is the orginal form of swing and jazz dance, which all hip hop owes it's roots. Lindy can be danced to big band, but the basic rhythm allows it to be danced to fast or slow hip hop rhythm. (West Coast swing is a derivative of Lindy).
