Can people please answer!? girls and guys. What to say to a girl when dancing? / When to come closer?

I am sixteen years old, and very soon there will be a school dance. Okay, first of don't get the impression that I don't get dances. I get more then pretty much anyone, but I find cause my school is so big i always find myself asking a girl to dance who I don't know. It's not that they don't grind with me, and not like dancing with me. 95% of the girls i dance with, end up wanting more, and enjoying my time while opening up. (Grinding, and coming closer.) What I need help with is having a better first impression with them. Do I gently come from behind them and touch their shoulder? What do I exactly say when asking or telling a girl to dance with me. (tell cause for the ones I know and have danced with before.) What do I say during the dance with them? give me examples...an idea: Are u having a good time?, etc. I just want to make a good impression so AFTER the dance they want to get to know me. (If they dont already.) All the input and advice is greatly appreciated. This means a lot.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Just ask her "do you want to dance?" It's a simple yes or no question. If she says no, move on. If she says, yes, just do it and move closer. You'll know when she doesn't want to be close when she resists. When she does that, respect her space. But, if you already know this girl, I wouldn't worry about that; she won't mind.
