What style of dancing looks the best in nightclubs?

I like going clubbing with my friends, and often we will go to nightclubs and see a guy who can dance really good and is attracting all the female attention. To me, I would like to know what style of dancing I should learn to be a good nightclub dancer? I am talking about the hip and trendy Los Angeles nightclubs and an age range of between 20-29. I am not too familiar with dancing styles, but I'm quite certain, these guys are not doing the Waltz! It seems most dance classes want to teach a particular style of dancing, be it Waltz, Tango, Swing. So what I need to know is what style of dancing I should learn to look good and impress women if I spend most of my time in night clubs with dance (some techno) music. I really appreciate your honest answers.
