Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Dumbledore, by far. He's acted as a father figure for Harry, and he's helped him come so far in his life so quick. Dumbledore lived so long, did so many wonderful things for witches and wizards, and most of all, appreciated every child that walked through the doors of Hogwarts. Even Tom Riddle, until he became Voldemort.

That's why. He was respected and loved, and most of all, looked up to by many a child.
