I dont know much about poetry at all. Please give me some feedback, I know this probably seems so amateur. Suggestions are welcome!

Awake

Your eyes open bright
Like you never were asleep
But for 2 long weeks
You laid between the sheets

Welcome back to reality
Say goodbye to your dreams;
Here in the real world
Pain IS what it seems

But I see your smiling
So you've made your peace
Now you're willing and eager
To now face the beast
