Question:

What are cells? and since all things have there own molecular structure, what is it that gives life to cells..

but not rocks or water?
My second question is about death.
I wanted to understand why we age, it has something to do with the cells not reproducing, right? and if all life dies then what about non - living objects, do they not "die" in the sense that they too go through changes eventually becoming something different? like a rock who through time mixes with various minerals and environments?
Even a rock will one day loose the elements that make up a rock, it will "turn" into something new, right?

sorry, english is not my mother tounge.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It sounds like you are asking these questions with the answers already existing in your thought structure.
You know then that everything is derived from energy, including rocks, water, plant & animal cell, bacteria and all elements. The organization and fuction of this energy is the only difference. The movement and transformation of this energy is birth, life and death just as you are eluding to.

This may or may not be an affermation of your understanding but you already know the answer to your question, don't you?
