What is a good, easy to use art pad/tablet for a pc? I really need one to draw on the computer.?

I'm in game art and design and although drawing on paper is great, I need an art pad that would enable me to edit my drawings once I scan them into the computer. Precision and coloring are things that I'm looking for. Price doesn't matter.
