Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: With the Studio you're getting "neck through" construction - that's top of the line nowadays. You get a little more stability and sustain - you'll have to play it to decide if the extra $100 is worth it. Play both to get a feel for the difference.
They both have the EMG pick-ups, and active eq. Schecter makes good stuff. You can't go wrong with either one.
