What's some good literature involving pirates?

I've been invited to do an honors thesis at my college (English department), and I'm thinking about doing it over pirate literature.

Other than "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson and "The Gold Bug" by Edgar Allan Poe, what are some good classics in which pirates play a big part?

This website has tons of books where many pirates play a great big part. Also, I don't know if you are allowed to do this book becasue it is a romance, but I would recommed Fire & Ice by Catherine Hart. It's about this girl who falls in love with a pirate on her ship, but there are many conflicts that arises. It's a great read.
