Question:

Is it wrong to set your goals on perfection?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Depends on your definition of wrong.

If you set your sights on perfection then you are only leaving yourself open for failure. The world is an imperfect place and naturally would lead to imperfect ends. No one being is perfect (outside of God if you beleive in a greater being -- check out Ontological proofs.) thus the outcome of said being cannot be perfect. If you can accept that nothing can be 100% perfect then it is not wrong to try for it. If you can't accept that then you are only damaging yourself and your psyche.

Basically: try for the moon, but reach for the stars but accept that you can only realistically touch the sky.
