Can anyone recommend a good beginning guitar instructor in MN (preferably in the South TC suburbs)?

I tried a community class about a year ago, but didn't find it very helpful (it was a large group). So perhaps a small group or one-on-one class would be better...some place or someone in the Bloom/Rich/Edina area would be fantastic.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You could also try the folks at Groth Music in Bloomington. Both Groth and Schmitt have great instructors. The deal is to find one you understand and who understands you! Not every teacher works well with every student. It's all about individuality.

At Groth, they also have many musicians' cards posted in the entryway to the store. Some of those musicians may teach also.
