Question:

Nervous about performing! (dancer who can help?)?

I'm performing a number at this dance show tomorrow! I thought i was ready till the last practise on stage...and the fact that we're closer to the actual thing...it's really nerve wracking and im afraid that my nerves are going to get the best of me and i wont be able to perform as full out as i'd like too.

Any suggetions? specifically? Tips..anything, that will help me not be so nervous about tomorrow??

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: 1. make sure that when you are out on stage you smile
2. if you mess up, keep going; if you blank out on what to do, then look at a dancer close to you and then you most likely will remember what to do.
3. if you can see the audience offstage, they can see you.
4. you may be scare from the audience, but they are just people. could they go up there and do that dance? probably not.
5. have fun! don't just look all bland. do the moves to the best and fullest of your abilities. its funner to watch and its funner for you.
6. if your not having fun, then why would you be there?
i hope this helped!
