well i need a new camera, (badly) but i was wanting to get a SLR. my budget is tight and i was wondering what is the cheepest (but still good) SLR to get.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Take a look at the Nikon D40x and the Canon Rebel XTi. Both are good cameras and fairly inexpensive.
