will people put aside the outdated concept of God and take responsibility for their own actions?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Firstly if the concept of God were outdated then by definition it would already have been put aside.

Secondly monotheistic religions teach that people have free will, and are responsible for their own actions.

Thirdly you can never prove there are no Gods its a logical impossibilty.

Finally as long as someone beleives in a God, then that God exists in their reality. Their reality is no more or less legitimate than yours and there is nothing you can do about it.
