I read a few chapters of a book, but I can't remember what book it was. Can anyone help me figure this out?

It was about a young French author caught in a love triangle between two women... One of them being a woman named Isabelle. At the beginning of the story, the man's store burned down. Can anyone figure out what book tit was? The cover page had random things... Like a doll, and a wrestling rink, ect.

What I've done (and had it succeed a few times) is type in a few key words on Amazon.com to get a list of books with those things in them. In this case I tried French author and love triangle, Isabelle and French author and I think Isabelle and love triangle. No luck. Maybe you can figure out a few other clues and give it a try yourself. Wish I knew for sure.
