What is a good Animation School in the LA area? Hopefully leading to a job working at Pixar or Blizzard.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I agree that CalArts (the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia) has the most prestigious animation program in the US. You will need a pretty impressive portfolio to get accepted there. Platt College in LA also offers courses in computer animation.

Be aware that the field of animation is VERY competitive. Animation schools get plenty of applicants, and even if you get accepted and graduate there's no guarantee that you'll get a job as an animator anywhere, much less a position at Pixar.
