Position:Home>Arts & Humanities> Do you like Daphne DuMaurier?Question: Do you like Daphne DuMaurier?I had to read Rebecca when I was in the 10th grade, and because of how much I loved the book....I bought a lot of her books off of ebay after it. But yet...I've never read any of them. lol. One day I will, I just haven't done it yet. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: "Rebecca" is one of my favourite Daphne du Maurier books. I also loved "Frenchman's Creek", a romance and weepie, with one of the greatest love scenes I've ever read (it was suggested...) "Jamaica Inn" is also a good story, a bit of a thriller; and I was intrigued by "My Cousin Rachel". "Don't Look Now" was scary, and made into a very good film with Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland. But one of the strangest books, dealing with time travel, is "The House on the Strand". I've read a few more, but the above remain the most memorable. I envy you reading them for the first time! |
