The last Harry Potter books is coming out. Should I go to the book party at B&am

Question:

The last Harry Potter books is coming out. Should I go to the book party at B&N?

(This may sound crazy).
The party is from, hmm, about 9-12. But I'm so paranoid that the clock will stroke midnight and some evil little child will flip to the last page and scream the ending. Is this OCD, or do you think I will be safe to go? I just don't want the last installment's secrets be revealed to me unless I read them myself.
