Question:
Sweetbriars of My Life?
It is not of your beauty I write
It is not of your thorns I speak
Yet, it is of your being in my life
Yet, it is of your benevolent presence the whole year
Adding to the colors of my life
Making me see my life, his and theirs
Making me feel love, sad and blessed
If only each petal of yours could speak
I would whisper what I see
If only each petal of yours had a heart
I would tell it what I feel
Yet, never have I queried to what you might bring later
As in the end, it is all the beauty that you offer
What impression do you get when reading my poem?

To me it says, "Sure I've got thorns and empty out in the cold, but overall, I'm a pretty cool plant."
