Cartoon movie - movement lines?

When you see a cartoon animation from first person. With a plain backround, how do i draw the lines that show which way you are moving?

The best way is to start with simple objects to familiarize yourself with the process. Use a flip book and trace one image over the other. Read about it in Wikipedia.

If you're referring to "motion lines", you would express it the same was as it is in comics. If a leg is moving quickly in one direction, then you show the lines behind the leg to show where it's been, and so on....

Impact lines "explode" shown like rays, outward quickly in about two to five frames. The object may also skew or blur from it's original form to show motion in the process of showing quick changes in a short time span.
