Harry Potter?
If I forced you to pick, who would you say the COOLEST character would be, and why?
I would have to say Hermione take's the prize, mostly because she is an extremely real character. She is the smartest in her year, but is very unsure of herself, as is shown when, in "The Half-Blood Prince," she hysterically panics that she failed all of her O.W.L.'s, although in fact she passed ten of them with the "Outstanding" grade, and Defense Against the Dark Arts with "Exceeds Expectations." She also has somewhat of a quick temper, and gets angry when someone gets the better of her. She also seems to lack some emotional maturity, as is shown in her tendency for tears. Though she has a lot of common sense, she seems to easily lose her head in intense situations. She is also very brave and very loyal to Harry.
So yes, I would definately say that Hermione is the best character in the Harry Potter series.

I would pick Ginny. Ginny is a very strong character she stands up for what she believes in. Ginny also makes sure that people dont get picked on (Luna) she is a weasley!
Who doesnt love Ginny? Lol. Her and Harry understand each other. She really picks up on things.
