Question:

Can somebody pls recommend a good book....?

...for me to buy and read. I don't enjoy romance, thrillers etc. I have read The Beach and enjoyed that, I tend to read autobiographys or non-fiction and quite want to try out a fiction book. I like adventure travel stories or sci-fi if its quite diluted and not too heavy.

Any recommendations please?
