Question:

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to elaborate on the following quote:?

re: Ralph Waldo Emerson's Nature: "We find beautiful writing and sound philosophy in the little work, but the effect is injured by occasional vagueness of expression, and by a vein of mysticism that pervades the writer's whole course of thought."

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: well, if I were to interpret it, I would say that he means that the writer tries to be 'deep' but fails at it. Like they use too much description for something that is an analogy and they never get to the point.
