It was about a little boy who grew up in the country and loved to run his garden, and when he moved to the city he convinced some kids he met to plant seeds on the roof of a building.

Its not any of the ones you guys suggested. If I recall correctly, the title was 1 word that started with an A, but I may be wrong. And IIRC the boys name was T.J.
