Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It relates to Streecar Named Desire in that Blanche's situation with the young boy at the school forces her out of town and into Stanley and Stella's house. She tries very hard to entrap his best friend into marrying her. When that doesnt work, Stanley, fed up with her manipulation, traps her and rapes her. In the end, Stella has to choose between her husband and her sister. She chooses her husband and Blanche ends up entrapped in the mental health system. Pax- C
