Question:

English translation of sentence from Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico Philosophicus.?

This is perhaps a mundane question, but you'd be helping out a translator whose books are packed in boxes if you can tell me...

Tractatus logico-philosophicus, 5.632, the sentence, "Das Subjekt geh㶲t nicht zur Welt, sondern es ist eine Grenze der Welt." I speak German and can do my own translation, but if you have the Pears and McGuinness English translation and can tell me what they did with it, that'd be great!

Thanks...

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Pears and McGuinness say:

5.632 The subject does not belong to the world: rather, it is a limit of the world.

What's your translation?
