Question:

I have a wedding coming up that i will be photographing. the couple is interacial with the bride being white?

and the groom is dark black. i don't want to make a huge mistake and the photos come out with the groom missing...
can anyone give me tips on how to photograph a black and white person together so that everyone shows up equally?? please help.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Try this.

If your camera has an Auto Bracketing (AEB) feature, then this is the time to set it on and use it for all your wedding photos. What it does is take 3 photos with slightly different exposure settings: one at the camera's suggested setting (wherever you pointed the centre of your frame at), a second slightly underexposed, and a third slightly overexposed.

Since the 3 pictures basically are the same photo (as long as the couple are standing more or less still), then you've increased your chances of getting one photo correctly exposed for the bride and another one for the groom. A little photoshop will then do wonders!
