Question:

I love to sing but can't find a record artist any help?

Hi my name is Breanna, andI have been singing since i was five, i was in the Alabama All State Honors Choir , and led all the solos at church and school, and i get wonderful compliments on how i sing, and how i should become a singer. The only problem is trying to find someone to listen to me, and get a record deal, so i can be heard by others. If you have any advice that would be great . Thanks.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: contact a lawyer and have him or her write a letter to an A&R manager. This is a little known secret in the music business. the manager is more likely to read the letter and listen to the demo if it is sent by a lawyer because that lawyer puts his or her rep on the line. In the letter ask if it is good enough to be considered and if you can meet the manager one on one to get feedback. remember it's all in your approach. go thru your local legal aid to do this, doesn't cost as much. also give the manager a self addressed return envelope so he or she can provide feedback. i hope this helps
