Question:

There a difference between a trumpet mouthpiece and flugelhorn? I play trumpet.?

Does this can affect my embouchure?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I own and play both a trumpet and flugelhorn. The mouthpieces are different. The cup in the flugelhorn mouthpiece is more funnel shaped and wider, giving you a darker sound. It's also much shorter, like a cornet mouthpiece. Try to buy one that has the same rim size as your trumpet mouthpiece and you'll be fine. No difference in embrochure. The responce is different though.
