Thinking of you brings great joy and sorrow,
So close we are; yet are we equally far?
Anticipating the passing of each new tomorrow,
Imagining closer do we become with each new day,
Yet in the corner of my mind linger woe some fears
Terrible fears of drifting far apart
When I think of this, my eyes fill with tears,
And fears pierce and scorch my very soul and heart
But in knowing of thine heart, fears soon die
Then, imagining thine eyes, so deep
With enchanting stare, mine eyes do dry
Imagining thine smell, taste, and touch
Distance and time become stripped of all power
Our love eternal grows infinitely like a never-ending tower.
