Buying a d70s. Lens question?

Looking for a D70s used of course. Want to buy it with a great lens until I can buy a d80 in a few years.
How's the 18-70 lens that comes with the standard outfit?
Are there different quality lenses inside Nikkor or is any of their lenses build on the same standards?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The 18-70 lens is good, but you might want more range. Then you could get the 18-135, or better yet, the 18-200.

They do make lenses in different qualities and price ranges. The best of the line are the VR (vibration reduction) lenses. Middle range would be the ED (extra low dispersion) lenses, and I can't remember what their bargain lenses are.
