how can i start my acting carreer to then move on to singer

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well for starters i would say just go out and audition! Look for upcoming shows that need casting! Prepare a at least one song and monologue and whatever the casting director there wants you to. Be sure to learn them well. Prepare them for the audition and be prepared to present.
Do you have any experience? Well get it all ready in your head so that when the audition comes up you be prepared if they ask you.
You dont necessarily need an agent or a degree. When and if you get really BIG you can worry about an agent. And the majority of actors out there do not have theater degrees.
Now as for transferring into singing, you might want to ask a pro.
