Question:

Past, present, and future?

How can there be such a thing as a present? Or even a past? Wouldn't it be right to say that there is only a future? Time doesn't stop, right? So basically, even the past would be considered part of the future in the past... yet, there is no past! and a present does not even exist... since time keeps going. How do you personally see each as?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I personally do not see time as a straight line but as a wave pattern, this accounts for us seeing many things as cyclical and yet moving forward. Also I think there may be multiple waves occurring at different levels of reality. As a wave it could also be bent or the wave may go slower and faster at different part of the wave, which might account for us experiencing time as both equal on our clocks but unequal in how we experience it. And yes we do experience past present and future, perhaps never future at all actually, but only present and reflections of the past.
When I read some quatum psychics it just made very intuitive sense to me.
