Question:

How would I go about getting a job in theater?

If I'm straight out of high school, and I head off to London, how would I go about getting involved in the theater? Keep in mind I have a very strong background in play production and acting, but other than "auditioning" for roles, what other jobs would be available for someone like me? Could I, perhaps, get a job simply assisting with costume design or something along those lines?

For those who have made comments about getting a degree, there's no hope for me in college. I wouldn't last, wouldn't get in, and I'd never try. I know, I know, it "makes things easier", but when has the easy path ever been exciting?
