Question:

What is your favorite from Agatha Christie?

Mine is "Evil under the sun".

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I couldn't pick just one so I picked several :)

Why Didn't They Ask Evans?/The Boomerang Clue for its humor and sweet charm. I have read this one over and over again. I love the scene where Frankie's car *accident* is staged.

"Shall I roll about in the road a bit?" asked Frankie.
"To get myself dusty?"
"You might as well," said George. "Here, give me your hat."
He took it and inflicted a terrific dent on it. Frankie gave a faint anguished cry.
"That's the concussion," explained George.

I also really love So Many Steps to Death/Desination Unknown and They Came To Baghdad. The heroines in both are so interesting. I wish they turned up in other books.

Crooked House
I fell for all AC's red herrings in this one. I totally didn't see the ending coming and yet once I read it I felt that I should have seen it all along. I didn't feel cheated by the outcome at all. I felt this same way when I read Ordeal By Innocence, another top favorite, which had an awesome premise.

Crooked House, in my opinion, has the potential to be a terrific film especially if it was updated a bit to make the family a rich, Hollywood Celebrity type.

Death On The Nile
My favorite of the Poirot novels. This is the AC book that are recommend to people who haven't read any of her books yet.
