Do you like my poem ??
As we walk along the beach
these words to you i do preach
i love you, i love you, i love you so much
i love the way your tender lips touch.
Amusement arcades along the way
and into them sometimes i do stray
i put some money in and try to win you a prize
and see the smile of your beautiful eyes.
Then hand in hand we walk down to the sand
the feeling when im with you makes my lungs expand
i try to catch the breath that you have taken away
i wished i could freeze time and live forever in this day.
The smell of the fish & chips was hard to ignore
and before long we were eating them while walking the shore,
you picked up a pebble and said this is for you to keep, keep this to remember this day, take my picture and please remember me this way.
It didn't out, we drifted apart
but your place is set in stone in my heart,
I still have my pebble & picture to remind me of the day
when i fell for you, in every single way.
