Question:

What books are similar in style and/or content to Mikhail Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita?"

The Master and Margarita is my favorite book. So much that I had one of the characters tattooed on me. So much that I can't find anything else even remotely interesting to read!! What is similar (political, particularly soviet, satire) to that great novel?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Oh My Gosh!! I love this book too!! I read it at least three times. I remember the first time I finished reading it - I kept on thinking about it and the characters and how odd the book was for days after. I have never ever read a book like this one before. It kept me interested, scared at times, comforted at other times, I found my favorites there and wished I could have some of this magic creme that makes you beautiful!

I am going to keep on checking your answers because I would like to know more books of this kind too. What do you think about sticking with Bulgakov? I would think if he wrote this one, he may have written other ones similar to it?
