If you are smart then answer this question? (Book)?

If the book Harry potter was publieshed in another langauge other than English do you think that it would successful as it is right now?
(Well English is not my first language wish you can underestand what I mean)

And what are your reasons for that?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Of course, I understand what you mean; some others, just don't try. But it is very doubtful that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone would have been nearly so popular if it had been first published in another language. Especially, given that it is such a phenomenon even in English. But, I'm thinking I could be wrong, as I'm reminded that probably the greatest novel ever written (War and Peace) was written (by a Russian) and I think first published in French. Might just take longer. In fact, it probably does. Because a good story will out.
