RAB is Regulus Black. The Harry Potter Lexicon had published this tidbit of information, saying that the A stands for his middle name Arcturus, but JK Rowling asked them to take it down. Hmmm, suspicious.

Plus think back to Order of the Phoenix when they found a locket at 12 Grimmauld Place. Horcrux? Methinks yes.
