Do you believe in God? If yes,what is God to you?

It is the ultimate philosophy question....just tell me why you do or don't believe.....

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Absolutely. I have a pretty liberal view of God, but I definitely believe in a greater being, an ultimate source that is still very much present and relevant. I believe because... well... for example - we feel joy, pain, resentment and because we feel these things, we don't doubt that they exist. I feel God. I've received direct answers to prayers. However, I don't take offense at atheism. If you just don't feel it - then you don't. I respect that people need a reason to believe and my personal opinion is that everyone feels that truth at least once in their lifetime. Maybe it is just a moment where you feel completely overwhelmed with a feeling that you can't quite understand - or an everyday thing that suddenly takes on new meaning...
