Question:

Which is the best Tintin book and why?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: For me the best Tintin has always been Les Bijoux de la Castafiore. That's one of the Tintins my dad used to have when I was tiny, so I have read it often. There are a countless amount of jokes and gags in that book. And I guess I also found that little Roma-girl very pretty. The professor's color-tv presentation is a classic!

But really, although this is among the best Tintin books, it is a lot about nostalgia.

I have to mention the double book Les 7 boules de Cristal and Le Temple du Soleil as well. I used to be so afraid of the mummy of Rascar Capac in the first part...I could not read the book. The mummy felt alive to me, and it's dissappearance was so disturbing, as if it had run into the real world...When I grew older this particular book wasn't so imposing anymore.
